How to Begin Therapy

Starting therapy can feel like a big step. At E H Therapy Clinic, we aim to make the process clear, respectful and supportive from the beginning. You do not need to know exactly what to say before contacting us — we will guide the process gently and at your pace.

  • Request a Consultation You can contact us by phone, email, WhatsApp or the website enquiry form. You can briefly tell us what support you are looking for.
  • We Arrange an Initial Appointment We will arrange an initial appointment at a suitable time. This may be online or face-to-face, depending on your needs, location and availability.
  • We Discuss Your Needs and Goals During the first appointment, we will talk about what has brought you to therapy, your current difficulties, your hopes for support and any concerns you may have.
  • We Agree a Therapy Plan Together, we will agree a therapy plan that feels safe and suitable for you. This may include short-term support, longer-term therapy, trauma-informed work, grounding techniques, emotional regulation or regular reviews.
  • Sessions Begin at a Pace That Feels Safe Therapy begins gently and at your pace. You do not have to share everything straight away. We work together to build safety, trust and confidence over time.
